Web search
On every plan, both AI assistants can search the public web when a question needs current or outside information your mailbox can't answer: a company's public details, a price, a regulation, a definition, today's news. The AI decides on its own when to look online; you don't switch anything on.
What it's for
Use it for facts that live outside your email: "what's the VAT rate for X", "what does this company do", "is this standard still current". For anything in your own emails, files or contacts the assistants use your stored history instead; web search never replaces that.
Sources are always shown
When the AI uses the web it cites the pages it read. In Iris they appear in the Sources panel under the answer: a globe-marked row you click to open the page; in a contact's Mnemo chat the links sit inline in the answer. Web pages open in a new tab. Treat what you read there like any website: the AI summarizes it but can't vouch for it, and never acts on instructions hidden in a page.
Plans & usage
Web search is included in every plan, with no separate web-search limit. A question that browses uses your AI like any other question (see AI usage & limits), and the small extra cost shows up in your usage meter.
