Plan limits & what's kept

Every plan keeps your full contact list. How much it holds is set by one storage figure, described below. Wherever a usage meter appears (Home when nearly full, your account menu, and Plan & usage), a small ⓘ explains, calmly, exactly what that limit keeps.

How much your plan holds

Storage is one number per plan, shared by your mail and your files: 3 GB on Solo, 6 GB on Pro and 25 GB on Business. Nothing else counts toward it. The search index, the text pulled out of your PDFs, the descriptions written for your photos and everything else Speudio builds to work with your mail are ours to pay for, never yours. That is the only limit. There is no separate cap on how many emails you may keep, so nothing counts down towards a number of messages. Speudio still tells you how many it holds, because it is useful to know, and it imports everything by default.

What comes in, stays. Speudio never removes or hides an older email to make room for a newer one. When your plan is full, it simply stops adding new mail and tells you, in the bell and on the meter in Plan & usage. Move to a bigger plan, then use Fetch older mail in Settings and Speudio picks up the mail it had to leave.

Nothing is lost either way. Mail that Speudio did not take in is untouched in your real mailbox; Speudio only ever reads it.

A downgrade changes nothing about that. It is the same rule with a smaller number: if your new plan is smaller than what you hold, you are over your limit, so new mail pauses until you are under it again. Every email you already have stays open and readable, nothing is removed, and there is no countdown (see Storage and plan limits).

Your AI

The AI that comes with your plan starts fresh on a fixed 30-day cycle; the ⓘ on the AI meter shows the exact date. What the meter shows is the percentage you have used, not a number of questions, because questions differ in how much the assistant has to read. There are no overage bills, ever, and we never cut you off mid-task. See AI usage & limits for exactly what uses it.

Beyond Business

Business is our biggest standard plan, not the ceiling. If your work needs more than it covers (more mailboxes, heavier AI use, more storage), we'll shape a custom package around it. Open a ticket and tell us what you need; you'll also find the same option in the app wherever a Business limit shows.
